All figures are calculated with the Pine Straw placed on the ground in a decorative fashion. Pine Straw is compressed at a 6.25 to 1 ratio. A large box will yield the equivalent coverage of 1.8 cubic yards of a hard wood mulch, the dimensions of the pine straw box will be different apon delivery due to the fact that Pine Straw expands when distributed. Use the chart below as if you were calculating any normal hard wood mulch. A depth of 3 inches has been used for all calculations.
