How the calculator works
Figured at a 2-inch layer
Every number above assumes a 2-inch layer. For a 3-inch layer, order about one and a half times as much.
Box bales and pallet bales
A large box holds 4 bales of 9 lbs and covers 200 sq ft, about 50 sq ft a bale. A pallet holds 48 bales of 12 lbs and covers 3,000 sq ft, about 62.5 sq ft a bale. Pallet bales are heavier, so each one covers more.
The price is your total
Shipping is free on every order. Residential pallets come with a liftgate; commercial delivery needs a forklift, tractor with forks, or loading dock.
Truckload-size jobs
When a job reaches truckload size, the pallet button becomes a request for a direct freight quote, which nearly always beats list pricing.
